Eligibility Criteria for JRF Scholarship 2018-19

The students who secured at least 55% marks in Master's Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by the UGC in History/ Archaeology/Musicology is eligible for this Junior Research fellowship.

The aspirants belonging to OBC/ST/SC/PH category who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this fellowship and aspirants who are admitted to a Ph.D. program can apply for.

Application Fee:

Rs. 200/- will be paid in the form of a (D.D) Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Deputy Director (Accounts) ICHR, payable at Delhi.
SC/ST/Physically Challenged category are exempted from payment of the fee.

  1. Having all schooling certificate and college certificate.
  2. Domicile of the applicants.
  3. Birth certificate of the student.
  4. Photograph of a student.
  5. Aadhar Card copy.
  6. Income proof certificate.
  7. Caste Certificate.
  8. Ration Card
Exam Pattern:
  1. 30 objective type questions of 30 marks
  2. 2 essay type questions of 50 marks.
  3. 5 questions based on comprehension of 20 marks.
  4. Aspirants who qualify in the eligibility examination will face for an Interview at the offices of the ICHR hi.
