British Council is providing the Goa Education Trust Scholarship 2019 to those students who wish to undertake Postgraduate study in United Kingdom (UK). This is scheme is available for Goan students who deserve to complete their PG education in UK. Interested students must check the given criteria and fill the Goa Scholarship Application Form on or before the last date. To get more updates, please keep in touch with this page. The Goa Education Trust (GET) scholarship has invited applications for admission to Master's in the UK. The last date to apply is 10th May.

In the year 2009 ,The Dempo and Fomento Group Collaboratively formed the Goa Education Trust with British Council. The first purpose of this council is to award scholarship to the Goan students who are looking to undertake their PG education in UK. This is a golden opportunity for Goans to obtain higher education degrees from top UK Universities in various disciplines including Journalism, Education, Ancient History and Law.

Goa Education Trust Awarding the Given Scholarships:

1. Uma Damle has completed her Bachelor of Design in Fashion Communications and would be pursuing MA in Fashion Photography at University of Arts London.

2. Wayne D'cruz has completed his BA in Mass Media and would be pursuing MA in Cultural and Creative Industries at Kings College London.

3. Kirti Dahiya completed her BA LLB and will be pursuing Master of Law in Public International Law at Queen Mary University.

4. Anushka Desouza has completed her Bachelors in Architecture and will be pursuing MSc in Architectural Conservation at University of Edinburgh.

Eligibility Criteria for Goa Education Trust Scholarship 2019

  • Applicants must be an Indian and also have a valid passport.
  • Candidates must be in India at the time of applying for the Scholarship
  • The maximum age of applicant should be 30 years at the application time.
  • Have an excellent track record in academics and extra- curricular achievements
  • Preference will be given to Goans (who or either of whose parents or any of whose grandparents is/was born in the territory now known as the State of Goa, and a birth certificate issued to this effect by the Government of Goa is provided; or domiciled and resident in Goa)
Scholarship Amount (Award)

Tuition fees and contribution towards living expense up to a maximum of GBP 25,000.

  • Conditional/ Unconditional Admission Letter from the UK institution (if already received)
  • One academic and one professional reference letter, although recent graduates may submit two academic references of not more than one A4 size page each

How to apply online for Goa Education Trust Scholarship 2019

Fill the application form online with all required details. After downloading the application form applicants should use the given platforms to finalize their registration.The application form along with the supporting documents (scanned copies) should be emailed at get.scholarship@britishcouncil.org without exceeding more than 10 MB.
